Client file delivery means getting finished work or source material to someone outside your team without asking them to join a workspace. Email attachments fail on large videos, design packages, CAD files, photo sets, and database exports. Shared drives solve the size problem but often create a new permissions problem.
FileSendX keeps the hand-off narrow: the sender uploads one supported file, adds the client's email address, and sends an expiring link. The recipient opens that link in a browser. There is no account invitation, shared folder, desktop application, or unfamiliar dashboard to explain.

Every active plan includes password-protected links, optional burn-after-reading, and recipient downloads without an account. Paid plans also add invitations, SAML 2.0 SSO, and SCIM 2.0 provisioning after an administrator enables them.

Useful safeguards, stated precisely.
Uploads and downloads use TLS, and stored file objects use server-side AES-256 encryption. This is transport and storage encryption, not end-to-end or zero-knowledge encryption. File objects are stored in France and are removed after the plan's retention period; transfer-history metadata remains available to the sender.

Frequently asked questions.
Does my client need a FileSendX account?
No. Only the sender needs a validated FileSendX account. The client opens the transfer link and downloads the file in a web browser without registering or installing an app.
How large a file can I send to a client?
FileSendX supports one file up to 3 GB per send on Free, 200 GB on Starter, and 400 GB on Pro. If a project contains several files, put them in a ZIP or another supported archive first.
Can I password-protect a client transfer?
Yes. Password protection and optional burn-after-reading are available on every active plan. Send the password through a separate channel when the file is sensitive.
Can I see whether a client downloaded the file?
Yes. The sender's transfer history shows download counts. It does not provide a recipient signature or legally certified proof of delivery.
