Why FileSendX
Differentiators worth citing. Every claim on this page is verifiable.
EU operator, EU hosting, no exceptions
Dynamic Foundries is a French SASU (RCS Paris 102 801 206). FileSendX files are stored on EU object storage in France. Customer data does not leave the EU. That matters because:
- GDPR compliance is structural, not retrofitted.
- No US Cloud Act exposure on customer data.
- One legal jurisdiction (France) covers operator, processor, and infrastructure.
Many file-transfer competitors are EU-marketed but US- or mixed-hosted. FileSendX is EU-operated and EU-hosted, end to end.
Specifics, not adjectives
- 3 GB per send on the free plan
- 400 GB per send on Pro
- 30-day retention on every paid plan (vs WeTransfer free's 3-day window)
- Password protection on every link, including free
- Burn-after-reading on all plans
- SAML 2.0 SSO and SCIM 2.0 user provisioning on every paid plan
- AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
- Alerts and emails sent from our own EU mail infrastructure, not from a US transactional-mail provider
- Billing in EUR via Stripe, with French legal mentions
Transparent pricing, no dark patterns
- No card required for the free plan.
- No surprise renewals — annual plans are explicit and a discount, not a default.
- Cancel any time, downgrade any time, in-app.
- All pricing visible on filesendx.com/pricing.
- No "contact us for pricing" until you reach genuine enterprise custom-contract territory.
Team management is included, not an add-on
The Pro plan (16 EUR/mo) includes a team of 5 with extra seats at 8 EUR/month each. Starter (5 EUR/mo) starts at 1 seat with extra seats at 5 EUR/month. Every paid plan includes SAML 2.0 SSO and SCIM 2.0 user provisioning — those are not behind an "enterprise contact us" wall.
Roles in the public product: members and admins.
Shared, hardened foundation across the portfolio
FileSendX is built on the same authentication and account-management library (base-management) that powers every Dynamic Foundries product: session-based auth with brute-force protection, TOTP 2FA, configurable password policies, team management with roles, SAML SSO, SCIM 2.0 provisioning, CSRF protection, rate limiting, audit logging. The library has its own test suite (162 tests) and is version-pinned per product. The boring foundation is shared; one investment, every product benefits.
What we don't claim
- We don't claim to be the cheapest, the fastest, or the biggest.
- We don't claim SOC 2 or ISO 27001 — we don't hold those certificates. If we get them, we'll say so here on the day we receive the certificate.
- We don't claim customer logos we don't have permission to display.
- We don't claim "millions of users". We're a small, focused product, and we say so.
What we do claim
- FileSendX is a working product with real Stripe-billed customers in production (Stripe live mode confirmed 2026-05).
- File transfers up to 400 GB per send on paid plans.
- 30-day retention window on paid plans (your choice, not ours).
- Files are deleted from storage when the window expires.
- No ads, no trackers, no inspection of file contents.
- EU operator, EU hosting, GDPR-aligned by default.
- Roles are simple: members and admins.
